Brief:

Our instruction was to apply and obtain planning permission to replace the existing black stained timber windows and double doors with a low maintenance product such as PVCu. Although the property is not a listed building, it is situated in the middle of Plymouth's historic Barbican district. Therefore great care was needed for a choice of frame material that would satisfy stringent planning requirements to maintain the appearance of a traditional material.

Detail:

We managed to obtain planning permission to install the Eurocell Logik 70mm. Black Ash on White window and door System. With a wood-grained appearance it is very difficult to distinguish between this product and a traditional timber window until closer examination. Replacement of the roofline products with the same Black Ash finish was undertaken at the same time.
