Site: Pocklington Care Village, Plympton, Devon
Brief:
High quality windows and doors were required for this prominent design and build development for the Thomas Pocklington Trust, situated just outside of the centre of Plympton. Besides a requirement to comply with the standards of a "Secured by Design" specification, the units installed needed to be suitable for use by residents with sight loss.
Detail:
Eurocell Logik 70mm. Ovolo in white was the system chosen by Midas for the windows and double doors for both the residents flats and for the communal areas. The solid panels for the lower sections of the bay windows were finished in brown to match the colour of the curtain walling system (also installed by Crown Architectural Aluminium).
