Brief:
The existing windows and doors, along with the fascias and soffits were beginning to show signs of age, and were requiring major work to either renovate or replace them. A quality product within the usual budget constraints was required if replacement was the chosen option.

Brief:
This development contained a high proportion of social housing units, so the requirement was for a high security quality window to satisfy the standards and high specification required by most of the housing associations.
Site: Pocklington Care Village, Plympton, Devon
Brief:
High quality windows and doors were required for this prominent design and build development for the Thomas Pocklington Trust, situated just outside of the centre of Plympton. Besides a requirement to comply with the standards of a "Secured by Design" specification, the units installed needed to be suitable for use by residents with sight loss.

Brief:
Our instruction was to apply and obtain planning permission to replace the existing black stained timber windows and double doors with a low maintenance product such as PVCu. Although the property is not a listed building, it is situated in the middle of Plymouth's historic Barbican district. Therefore great care was needed for a choice of frame material that would satisfy stringent planning requirements to maintain the appearance of a traditional material.
